Presidents of the Chambers of Commerce from the associate member countries of Eurochamber have once again chosen the President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS), Marko Čadež, to serve on the Board of Directors of Europe’s largest business association, for the tenure of 2024 to 2025.

As stated by the PKS, Čadež will represent the interests of the Western Balkan business community and chambers of non-EU member countries in the Board of Directors. His selection has been backed by all associate members of Eurochamber, including chambers from Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Kosovo.

“We’ve managed to identify collaboration priorities between EU companies and those from the Western Balkans. However, even before full membership, there’s a pressing need for quicker integration of candidate countries into European structures, such as the single market,” noted the PKS President. He added that a unified European market for companies and products from the Western Balkans would boost reforms by achieving clear objectives and benefits in a reasonable timeframe, thereby ensuring Europe’s industrial future, promoting economic consolidation, and enhancing resilience and independence, especially for SMEs.
