A farewell reception was organized in honour of departing Chinese Ambassador Chen Bo, attended by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Prime Minister Ana Brnabić.

On this occasion, Vučić remarked that bidding farewell to sincere friends in Serbia is a bittersweet experience, filled with pride for the honour and opportunity of having such a friend.

“When we bid farewell to sincere friends in Serbia, we do so with a tinge of sadness, but also with pride, knowing the privilege and opportunity of having such a friend.

We had planned many projects together, rejoiced in each kilometer of roads and railways, shared concerns during challenging times, listened to each other with attention and respect, and always relied on the support and collaborative stance of the great People’s Republic of China for everything Serbia and its citizens needed.
