Responding to the dire circumstances stemming from devastating floods, the Serbian military has mobilized its resources to extend aid to the affected population in Slovenia. A total of two contingents from the Serbian armed forces have been deployed to mitigate, alleviate, and address the repercussions of the catastrophic flooding.

The initial group, consisting of 22 military personnel, accompanied by H-145 and Mi-17 helicopters, swiftly arrived in Slovenia. This vanguard includes members from the Air Force and the 63rd Parachute Brigade.

Subsequently, the second contingent, comprised of 34 Serbian military members, will be at the forefront of water and fuel supply, executing essential biological disinfection of structures and land in the stricken regions. Additionally, their role extends to engineering tasks aimed at restoring disrupted communications infrastructure.
